Question by Vicki M: What will you do to revise the "free trade" agreements that have devastated American workers? As Ross Perot predicted, free trade agreements have done nothing for us but "suck jobs out of America". Many AMERICAN companies now produce products to sell to here outside of the US. This is un-American and must be accounted for either in tariffs or taxes. Also, these supposedly "free trade" agreements are not truly free, these other countries have many restrictions on imported products. Without these changes, our economy may never recover because we need JOBS. Best answer for What will you do to revise the "free trade" agreements that have devastated American workers?:

Hold public hearings on it - a LOT of public hearings where actual people (not just Billionaires) can be heard.

True "Free" trade has been undermined by Congressmen and Cabinet members who get BIG campaign contributions and kick-backs from large corporations. Unions and their heavy handed requirements have also forced companies outside the US, as have DEQ/FDA and other regulatory commissions.

Free trade is primarily between the US, Canada, and Mexico. Given that Canada is our largest trading partner (other than China), and provides us with most of our oil, the free trade agreement is of huge value to our economy and many people benefit as a result. Not to mention, Capitalism is a multi-national phenomenon. Outsourcing is part of capitalism. To prevent corporations from going where labor is cheapest is to interfere with an important part of the market. If American's want to keep the jobs here, they'll have to be willing to work at sweat-shop wages. So rather than letting others work cheaply and benefit off of the resulting low prices, you'd prefer that we get those jobs back by either throwing Americans in sweatshops here and abolishing the minimum wage, or forcing Americans to pay 100x as much for those goods by forcing companies to produce them here for 100x the cost.
